Directions

Please refer to this interactive map for street names etc. The local train station - Sant Viçenc de Calders - is indicated on the map.

The route by car from the airport to the flat is also highlighted on the map. Written directions will follow here shortly.

By train

The local station is Sant Viçenc de Calders.

It is on the 'Rodalies'/'Cercanias' network of local trains from Barcelona. From the airport, you need to take a train into Barcelona and change at Barcelona Sants. Both airport trains and trains to Sant Viçenc de Calders run frequently (3-4 trains an hour) until approx. 11pm.

See the Renfe website to look up routes & timetables.

To get to the flat from the station at Sant Viçenc de Calders (+/- 15 mins walk):

Take Calle de la Estacion and then turn left on to Avenida de la Generalitat. This will take you all the way down to the Passeig Maritim of Coma Ruga, where you turn left again to walk along the seafront. Continue past the Hotel Gran Europa until about 150m further you come to a small square (with cars parked on it) on your left. If you look left across the square you see the Camping Sant Salvador ahead of you. Turn left on to the square, then left again on to Avenida Palfuriana, and ours is the tall-ish (10 storey) building on your left hand side.

There is an alternative, slightly shorter & quieter route which involves taking Calle de la Estacion for about 100m and then turning left through a pedestrian tunnel running under the railway tracks. This connects to Avendia del Parlamento de Catalunya via one of the two dead-end streets shown on the map below (just below the railway station). When you come from the tunnel/pathway to Avendia del Parlamento de Catalunya, turn left, going uphill. When you come to the top of the slope, take Avenida de Diagonal leading down to the sea. Ours is the tall-ish (10 storey) building where Diagonal meets Avenida de Palfuriana.
