ON ARRIVAL
Electricity - mains switches are next to the front door
Water - mains tap is in the kitchen, behind a small door in the wall next to the cooker.
Boiler (hot water) - in the kitchen cupboard above the fridge. It is set up & ready to use
TV - electricity and cable connections to be plugged in behind the TV
DURING YOUR STAY
Concierge - lives downstairs next to the main entrance
Front door (building entrance): should always be shut (separate key)
Front door (apartment): cannot be opened from the outside if the key is in the lock on the inside
Rubbish - please line the bins with plastic bags. Full rubbish bags should be taken outside to the containers in the car park next to the building.
Recycling - there are separate containers for: paper/cardboard, plastic bottles & cans, glass
Sunshade - close the sunshade on the balcony in high wind and during long absences
Heating - electric heater in the living room (please use sparingly – very high electricity consumption!)
Bikes - 2 bikes in the storage shed behind the building. The gate opens with the same key as the main door of the building.
- white ladies’ bike, blue men’s bike – both hanging with a chain and copper padlock
- the keys are in a box in one of the drawers of the sideboard in the living room
- flat tyre = fix it yourself! Bike repair tools are in one of the cupboards in the hallway

ON LEAVING
Electricity - turned off!
Water - turned off!
TV - unplug electricity & cable connections
Please wash all sheets and towels used. If you have to leave before they are dry, please leave them ‘hanging’ over the furniture indoors, not on the washing line outside.
As well as:
- Fridge defrosted and dried, door ajar
- Washing machine unplugged and tap turned off
- Rubbish emptied & taken away
- Balcony furniture brought inside
- Sunshade closed
- Windows fully closed, blinds down
- Doormat inside the door
- Bikes & beach stuff back where they belong (bike shed & cellar)
Please leave the apartment CLEAN and tidy!

BIJ AANKOMST
Elektriciteit - de schakelaars bevinden zich naast de voordeur
Water - de hoofdkraan bevindt zich in de keuken in het kleine muurkastje naast het fornuis
Boiler - in de ingebouwde kast in de keuken (boven de koelkast). Normaalgezien is al correct afgeregeld
TV - kabels voor elektriciteit & distributie, achter het toestel aan te sluiten
TIJDENS VERBLIJF
Conciërge - woont beneden aan de ingang
Voordeur (inkom gebouw) - blijft steeds op slot (met aparte sleutel)
Voordeur (appartement) - als de sleutel op de binnenkant is kan de deur niet van buiten geopend worden
Vuilnis - plasticzak in de vuilnisbakjes gebruiken a.u.b. Volle vuilniszakjes gaan naar de containers die zich buiten op de parking naast het gebouw bevinden
Recycleren - aparte containers voor: papier/karton, PMD, glas
Zonnescherm - balkonzonnescherm niet openlaten bij felle wind of langere afwezigheid
Verwarming - elektrisch toestel in de living (matig gebruiken a.u.b. – zeer hoog elektriciteitsgebruik!)
Fietsen
2 fietsen bevinden zich in de stalling achter het gebouw, het hek waarvan wordt geopend met dezelfde sleutel as de benedendeur van het gebouw:
- witte damesfiets, blauwe herenfiets – samen aan een ketting met koperen hangslot
- de sleutels bevinden zich in een doos in een van de schuiven van de buffetkast (woonkamer)
- platte band = zelf repareren! Fietsgerei ligt in de kast in de gang

BIJ VERTREK
Elektriciteit - afsluiten!
Water - afsluiten
TV - elektriciteit & distributie uittrekken
Alle gebruikte handdoeken en lakens wassen a.u.b. Als ze nog niet droog zijn op het moment van vertrek, binnen brengen en ‘hangen’ op de meubels (niet buiten op de lijn laten).
En ook dit allemaal:
- Koelkast ontdooien en drogen, deur op kier
- Wasmachine afsluiten en water dicht
- Afval wegbrengen
- Terrasmeubelen binnen zetten
- Zonnescherm dicht draaien
- Ramen volledig sluiten en rolluiken dicht
- Voetmat binnen leggen
- Fietsen & strandgerief terugplaatsen (stalling & kelder beneden)
Het appartement netjes gekuist en proper achterlaten!
